I’ve noticed that more people are tightening privacy settings on social apps, especially when it comes to Stories and temporary content. It seems like a reaction to both awareness and mistrust around online data. I’m curious whether other users feel that privacy tools have changed how openly you share moments. Do you post less now than before? What motivates your decision to use strict settings?

Social media habits change quickly, but our assumptions about privacy often lag behind. While reading a breakdown of how story features are perceived by users, privatestoryviewer.com came up in context as an example people mentioned when talking about visibility concerns. That made me more conscious of reviewing my own settings instead of relying on outdated assumptions about who can see what.

Fire door gaps might seem like a small detail, but they’re actually really important for safety. Even a tiny gap that’s too big can let smoke and flames spread more quickly during a fire, reducing the time you have to escape. On one project I worked on, we spent extra time measuring and adjusting each door to make sure the gaps were consistent and within regulations, and it made a big difference in the overall safety of the building. It’s one of those things that feels minor until you realize how much it protects everyone inside.
