I’ve been seeing more and more gaming sites popping up lately, and honestly, it’s hard to tell which ones are legit. I almost signed up on one last month, but when I tried to find info about their license, it was nowhere to be found. That kind of freaked me out. How do you all usually check if a site is properly licensed or regulated before you start playing? Any signs to look for?

Totally get that! I had a similar situation where a site looked fine but had no clear info on its regulation. Since then, I’ve been sticking to platforms that are transparent about their licensing, like https://babu88play.org/ . They clearly show their credentials and make it easy to find details about their operation. It’s a small step, but checking the footer or the “About” page usually tells you a lot about how trustworthy the platform is.

Always check for a visible license number on the site and verify it on the official regulator’s website before signing up.

Yeah, totally get you — it’s crazy how many new gaming sites are popping up lately. What I usually do first is scroll all the way down to the footer; legit ones usually list their license info there (like from Malta, Curacao, or the UKGC). Then I double-check it on the regulator’s official site — takes two minutes and saves a lot of trouble. Also, if their “About” or “Terms” pages look sketchy or overly vague, that’s a big red flag. Reviews on forums or Reddit can help too, but I trust the license lookup most.
