The core of Betarazi's process is implied probability normalisation. Every bookmaker's odds contain a built-in profit margin — the overround — which inflates the implied probability of all outcomes so they sum to more than 100%. We strip this margin to produce fair-market probability estimates for each outcome. These normalised figures, not the raw odds, are what the model uses to evaluate tips.
Once probabilities are normalised, the model ranks the available markets per fixture by the size of the gap between the fair probability and the bookmaker-implied probability. Only markets where this gap exceeds a meaningful threshold, within the 1.88 odds cap, are published.
All standard tips are capped at 1.88 decimal odds. This corresponds to a fair-market win probability of approximately 53.2% after margin removal. The Big Win page separately covers tips between 1.89 and 3.50 for bettors comfortable with higher-variance value betting.
Football tips use a six-market model covering 1X2, double chance, over/under goals, and BTTS. Basketball tips apply a rest differential coefficient for back-to-back games. Tennis tips calibrate surface-specific win rates independently per player. Jackpot predictions apply draw-probability inflation and entropy scoring to the 1X2 format required by SportPesa.
