Started freelancing a few months ago. Profile looks solid, rates are fair, and proposals go out almost daily. Still, responses are nearly non-existent. A few replies trickle in but never turn into actual projects. Not sure if the pitch is weak, the platforms are wrong, or if this is just how it goes in the beginning. For people who pushed through this stage, what actually made a difference? Was there one change that started getting replies, or is it really just about sending more and waiting longer?
