After our front door lock failed for the second time this year, I decided it's probably time to replace the whole thing instead of repairing it again. I'm looking for something that's both sturdy and attractive. Does anyone have recommendations for front doors in London? Genuine customer experiences would be much more helpful than online adverts.

Been there — once the lock starts failing repeatedly, it’s usually the door/frame telling you it’s done. We replaced ours after a second repair and the difference was instant: quieter, sturdier, and it actually looked like it belonged to the house. A mate recommended taking the time to get something made properly rather than rushing a stock option. I’d have a look at wooden front doors ; it seems like a decent starting point for front doors in London.
